Role Overview:

Suffolk RECONNECT is a program that provides support to individuals upon release from custody. As an Apprenticeship Development Officer, you will play a vital role in helping these individuals reconnect with their community.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with service users.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and engage in risk assessment processes.
  • Make referrals to the Forward Trust Meet and Greet service.
  • Ensure service users are fully connected with local services in preparation for release into the community.
  • Prioritize experience working with vulnerable adults, preferably through volunteering, student work placements, or previous employment.
