We are seeking an experienced Hydrology Consultant to join our team at RPS Group. As a Hydrology Consultant, you will be responsible for researching water issues, undertaking site walkovers, and providing support in completing Flood Risk Assessments and ES Chapters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research water issues such as flooding, water quality, droughts, and drainage using publicly available and bespoke data sets.
  • Undertake site walkovers and other technical and departmental duties associated with the role.
  • Provide support in completing Flood Risk Assessments and ES Chapters.
  • Undertake consultations with Local Planning Authorities (LPA), Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFA), and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified engineer or scientist with a relevant degree such as Civil Engineering or Physical Geography.
  • Relevant expertise and experience in hydrology and water environment management.
  • Self-starting team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
