Hydrology Consultant Role

We are seeking an experienced Hydrology Consultant to join our team at RPS Group. As a Hydrology Consultant, you will be responsible for researching water issues such as flooding, water quality, droughts, and drainage using publicly available and bespoke data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake site walkovers and other technical and departmental duties associated with the role.
  • Provide support in completing Flood Risk Assessments and ES Chapters.
  • Undertake consultations with Local Planning Authorities (LPA), Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFA), and other Stakeholders including EA.
  • Support in bid preparation and fee proposals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified engineer or scientist with a relevant degree such as Civil Engineering or Physical Geography.
  • Relevant expertise and a self-starting team player.
