Company Overview:

We are a well-established construction organisation seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to join our team in Newcastle.

Job Description:

This fixed-term contract for 1 year provides maternity cover for the role. As a Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for all administration related to benefits activities for new starters and existing employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits activities, including new joiners and leavers benefits administration, insurances, holiday trading, cycle to work schemes, childcare vouchers, Gympass, Green Car options, salary finance, and long service awards.
  • Monitor salary sacrifice deductions against employee salaries in line with legislation.
  • Apply National Minimum Wage legislation when processing benefit allowance requests.
  • Validate payroll calculations to ensure benefit changes align with policy and legislation.
  • Support the Team Leader in data collection and analysis across the team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Able to provide high-quality support to employees, line managers, and HR Operational teams. Strong administrative skills and ability to work accurately under pressure. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
