About the Role

We are recruiting for an Adult Care Practitioner Lead to join our team in Leeds and York. As a key member of our Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health services to working-age adults.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of practitioners, overseeing crisis assessments, and implementing home-based treatment interventions. You will also work closely with inpatient and community services to provide an excellent alternative to inpatient admission.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership, management, and supervision skills. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with adults of all ages with acute mental health problems and be able to consult, liaise, and negotiate with service users, carers/family members, other professionals, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of practitioners
  • Oversee crisis assessments and implement home-based treatment interventions
  • Work closely with inpatient and community services to provide an excellent alternative to inpatient admission
  • Liaise with other agencies, providers, service users/carers during the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care

Salary: £32,306 - £43,041 per annum
