Role Overview
A talented Educational Support Assistant is required to work under the guidance of the Deputy Headteacher for Student Welfare. This crucial role involves supporting students and their families, helping to reduce barriers to learning and fostering a supportive environment.

About the Role
The successful candidate will provide pastoral support to pupils, offering feedback on progress, achievement, behaviour, and attendance. They will also supervise pupils excluded from or not working to a normal timetable, develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements, and collaborate with the pastoral team to reintegration or behaviour review processes. Additionally, they will assist in the development and implementation of appropriate behaviour management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide learning and pastoral support to pupils* Supervise pupils excluded from or not working to a normal timetable* Develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements and support pupils in distress* Collaborate with the pastoral team to reintegration or behaviour review processes* Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and confidentiality policies. First aid training is desirable but not mandatory. The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £30,500 per annum, based on 19 hours per week.
