Health and Care Coordinator

This role involves coordinating the health and care needs of students within MidKent College, ensuring consistent and robust information sharing practices take place between key staff, parents, and other professionals. The successful candidate will have a Level 4 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent and a degree in a related field or equivalent substantial experience of managing the health and care needs of young people.
- Coordinating and reviewing information, resources, and training in relation to ongoing health and care needs of students
- Ensuring consistent and robust information sharing practices between key staff, parents, and other professionals
- Sustaining effective communication with colleagues, parents, and external partners to ensure comprehensive support for students
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a permanent position working 22.5 hours per week over an extended term-time of 42 weeks per year. There is flexibility around the pattern of these hours within the standard working week of 8:30-17:00 Monday-Thursday and 08:30-16:30 Friday, as long as this includes Wednesday afternoons.
