About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wellness and Care Coordinator to join our team at Austin Fraser. As a key member of our education provider's support staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of students by providing essential healthcare support. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive health and care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate records of student health and care information.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Healthcare Planning: Develop and implement tailored health and care plans for students, incorporating input from healthcare professionals, families, and students.
  2. Staff Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals and support staff to deliver high-quality medical attention to students.
  3. Record Management: Maintain accurate records of student health and care information, sharing updates with relevant staff and parents as needed.
  4. Training Delivery: Design and deliver training programs for staff on health and care-related topics as required.
  5. Risk Assessment Support: Provide support to staff with risk assessments related to student health conditions or disabilities.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  1. Able to start immediately
  2. An Enhanced DBS check
  3. A Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  4. Experience managing health and care needs or risk assessments
  5. A car with a full, clean license

The estimated salary range for this position is £28,000 - £34,000 per annum.
