About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Health Psychologist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have expertise in providing psychological care for individuals with sickle cell disorder and other rare anaemias.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to expand their skills and knowledge, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes for service users. They will also provide clinical supervision and consultation as required, functioning as a specialist in psychological services for sickle cell disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychological therapy to individuals with sickle cell disorder and other rare anaemias.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular clinical audits and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of care.
Requirements
  • Degree in Applied Psychology (Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent).
  • Registered with the HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience working with individuals with sickle cell disorder or other haematology conditions.
