About the Opportunity

MLK Education Search is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering effective occupational therapy services in a school setting, with a focus on supporting students with complex needs.
  • They will be responsible for assessing students' abilities, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with teaching staff to ensure seamless implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
  2. Develop and implement tailored therapy programs, incorporating evidence-based interventions and accommodations.
  3. Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure occupational therapy is integrated into daily lessons and activities.
  4. Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
