About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team at Vision Teaching as a full-time permanent SEN teaching assistant.

As a SEN teaching assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to support pupils with special educational needs in the EYFS setting. Your responsibilities will include supporting the teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children's progress, and providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to pupils on their progress and achievements
  • Work closely with parents and teachers to ensure consistent communication and support

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS classroom
  • Understanding of supporting pupils with SEN
  • Desirable: Experience working with children in a school setting
