About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Engineer to lead our Kilmarnock Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse fleet of vehicles, plant, and buildings, and developing your engineering team to enhance their skills and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in maintaining and repairing a fleet of vehicles, plant, and buildings
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage resources, stock, and personnel to ensure high-quality vehicle presentation
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Experience in fleet management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
