The Head of EMEA Institutional will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of Manulife's asset management business in the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the EMEA region, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead a team of sales and relationship managers to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Represent the EMEA Distribution team across the firm, both formally and informally.
- Sales and Relationship Management
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in the EMEA Institutional and Intermediaries market.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects in the EMEA region.
- Business Development and Growth
- Develop and execute a business development plan to drive growth in the EMEA region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
- Work closely with the Portfolio Specialist and Marketing teams to convey relevant and tailored messaging to various audiences.
- Experience and Skills
- Proven track record of building successful new business and client service in the region.
- Sophisticated understanding of financial markets, the institutional and intermediaries' markets, and investment vehicles.
- Deep understanding of illiquid alternatives and private market strategies.
- Proven ability and experience in leading and managing high-performance sales teams.
- Education and Qualifications
- Proven record of academic achievement. CFA and/or MBA preferred.
