Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Establish and manage the broker-dealer business, ensuring seamless execution of all operational initiatives, including the development and execution of robust business strategies to drive outsized revenue growth across the EMEA region.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, understanding their needs and ensuring our solutions meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Industry Representation: Represent BestEx Research at industry events and in the media, showcasing our thought leadership in the space.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all business activities adhere to FCA regulations, implementing robust governance frameworks and staying updated on regulatory changes.
  • Team Leadership: Partner closely with our CEO, Global Head of Business Development, and Chief Product Officer to design and execute innovative product strategies and expansion opportunities, and recruit, train, and lead a high-caliber sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
  • Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry and market structure trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to strategically position our offerings in the market.
  • Board Membership: Serve on the Board of Directors of the BestEx Research UK entity.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience with a proven track record in institutional equities sales and business development within the electronic trading or algorithmic trading space.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for driving business growth and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and manage functional frameworks within a high-growth environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with clients and team members.
  • Deep understanding of market structure, competitive landscape, industry trends, and regulatory environment in the EMEA region.
  • Outstanding and influential verbal and written communication skills.
