Job Title: Teaching Opportunities in Health and Social Care

Location: Wandsworth, South London

Estimated Salary: £175-£225 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Health and Social Care teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Wandsworth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver engaging and high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to secondary school students.
  2. Plan and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and well-being.
  4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Health and Social Care curriculum and improve student outcomes.
  6. Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events to contribute to a supportive and dynamic educational community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Health and Social Care to secondary school students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
