An Opportunity to Teach Health and Social Care

Step Teachers is seeking an experienced Social Science and Health and Social Care teacher to join a high-achieving school in Tower Hamlets. This part-time role will involve teaching Health and Social Care courses to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons for KS3 and KS5 learners in Health and Social Care.
  • Provide support and guidance to students pursuing careers in Health and Social Care.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Health and Social Care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Health and Social Care program.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Health and Social Care.
  • Promote Health and Social Care education within the school community.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • The ability to teach Health and Social Care at Secondary level.
  • A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in Health and Social Care.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Social Care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
