Our Explosive Ordnance Services team plays a critical role in this mission, storing, distributing, maintaining, and disposing of advanced ordnance technologies across Australia.

As an EO Technical Supervisor with our team at the Defence Weapons Research Facility (DWRF) in Edinburgh, you'll be responsible for leading and supervising EO technical staff, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of DST EO S&T sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising EO technical staff and managing the operation of DST EO S&T sites, ensuring safety and compliance with relevant regulations and protocols
  • Overseeing the storage, handling, and transport of project assets, EO, and Non-Explosive Dangerous Goods (NEDG), performing stock control tasks, including inspections and inventory assurance
  • Managing and maintaining EO facilities, conducting inspections and maintenance on load-shifting equipment and vehicles, and supporting general housekeeping of EO and warehouse facilities
  • Providing technical and logistical support to AOT, ORF, and DWRF stakeholders, assisting with asset disposal, and contributing to the improvement of logistical processes
  • Ensuring compliance with all security protocols, occupational health and safety policies, and environmental guidelines, participating in emergency evacuation teams and drills
