Employee Relations Manager

Alexander Lloyd is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an Employee Relations Manager.
This role will report to the Head of Employee Relations and focus on managing trade unions and industrial relations, including pay negotiations. The ER Manager will not have line management responsibilities or ER casework attachment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial relations and trade union experience, particularly in an Employee Relations function
- Proven experience in an employee relations role
- Good understanding of employment law
- Strong communication, influencing, and listening skills, with the ability to coach, advise, and influence colleagues
- Ability to assess risks, exercise sound judgment, and make fair and appropriate decisions
Requirements:
- Previous ER experience is essential, preferably in a unionised environment
- Industrial relations experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills
- Part or fully qualified Professional CIPD qualification, or working towards it
This is a hybrid role, split between 2/3 days in the office (Croydon) and 2/3 days at home.
