Job Description
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize event profitability.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the event sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, sponsors, and partners to ensure long-term collaboration and satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Sales Campaigns: Design and execute effective sales campaigns, including outreach, presentations, and negotiations.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through sponsorship sales, exhibitor sales, and ticket sales for tech events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and content teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional attendee experience.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in event sales, with a focus on tech events preferred.
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience with the ability to grow, inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Sales Acumen: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners.
