Job Description

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize event profitability.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the event sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, sponsors, and partners to ensure long-term collaboration and satisfaction.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  5. Sales Campaigns: Design and execute effective sales campaigns, including outreach, presentations, and negotiations.
  6. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through sponsorship sales, exhibitor sales, and ticket sales for tech events.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and content teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional attendee experience.
  8. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in event sales, with a focus on tech events preferred.
  2. Leadership: Proven leadership experience with the ability to grow, inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.
  3. Sales Acumen: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners.
