Job Title: Philanthropy Programme Director

Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists is delighted to partner with a leading Children's charity in their search for a seasoned Philanthropy Programme Director. This is a pivotal role that will lead the Philanthropy team, responsible for delivering a significant portion of the charity's income.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a multifaceted Philanthropy strategy, encompassing major donors, special events, trusts, and foundations, to drive income growth and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead the annual planning, budgeting, and reforecasting process for Philanthropy and Special Events Fundraising, ensuring robust financial performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Philanthropy Fundraising Team, representing their interests and fostering collaboration across the organization.
  • Manage direct reports, nurturing their growth and development, and setting goals to enhance skills and career opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in philanthropy fundraising, with a strong understanding of the charity and fundraising sectors at a strategic level.
  • Extensive experience in devising, implementing, and delivering philanthropy fundraising strategies that support organizational vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Proven track record of high-value relationship management at 7-figure levels and experience in building and embedding successful growth strategies.
