Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists is thrilled to partner with a leading Children's charity in their search for a seasoned Philanthropy Programme Director. This pivotal role will lead the Philanthropy team, responsible for delivering a significant portion of the charity's income. The successful candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive Philanthropy strategy, driving growth and innovation in major donor relationships, trusts, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a multifaceted Philanthropy strategy, encompassing major donors, special events, trusts, and foundations, to drive income growth and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead the annual planning, budgeting, and reforecasting process for Philanthropy and Special Events Fundraising, ensuring robust financial performance and effective team management.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Philanthropy Fundraising Team, representing their interests and fostering collaboration across the organization.
  • Manage direct reports, nurturing their growth and development, and setting clear goals to enhance skills and career opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in philanthropy fundraising, with a strong track record of strategic leadership and high-value relationship management.
  • Extensive knowledge of the charity and fundraising sectors, with expertise in major donors, trusts, and foundations, special events, and programme growth.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering successful philanthropy fundraising strategies, supporting organizational vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
  • Significant experience in building and embedding sustainable growth strategies, with a focus on high-value relationships and 7-figure fundraising.
