Join Our Team as a Philanthropy Programme Director

Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists is thrilled to partner with a leading Children's charity in their search for a seasoned Philanthropy Programme Director. This pivotal role will lead the Philanthropy team, responsible for delivering a significant portion of the charity's income. The successful candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive Philanthropy strategy, driving growth and innovation in major donor relationships, trusts, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a multifaceted Philanthropy strategy, encompassing major donors, special events, trusts, and foundations, to drive 40-50% of the charity's annual income.
  • Lead the annual planning, budgeting, and reforecasting process for Philanthropy and Special Events Fundraising, ensuring robust financial performance.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Philanthropy Fundraising Team, representing their interests at all levels of the organization.
  • Manage direct reports, fostering a culture of growth, development, and career advancement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in philanthropy fundraising, with a strong understanding of the charity and fundraising sectors.
  • Extensive experience in devising, implementing, and delivering philanthropy fundraising strategies, supporting organizational vision and mission.
  • Proven track record of high-value relationship management at 7-figure levels.
  • Experience in building and embedding successful growth strategies.
