Lead Philanthropy Programme Director

Harris Hill is delighted to partner with a leading Children's charity in their search for a seasoned Philanthropy Programme Director. This pivotal role will lead the Philanthropy team, responsible for delivering a significant portion of the charity's income.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Philanthropy Strategy: Lead the development of a multifaceted and multi-channel Philanthropy strategy, focusing on major donors, special events, trusts, and foundations, to deliver a substantial portion of the charity's annual income.
  2. Annual Planning and Budgeting: Oversee the annual planning, budgeting, and reforecasting process for Philanthropy and Special Events Fundraising, ensuring robust, effective, and achievable financial performance.
  3. Team Leadership: Provide line management to direct reports, nurturing the team and setting development plans to build skills and career opportunities.
  4. High-Value Relationship Management: Leverage extensive philanthropy fundraising experience, with a focus on ultra-high net worth individuals, to build and maintain high-value relationships at 7-figure levels.
  5. Growth Strategies: Develop and embed successful and sustainable growth strategies, driving program growth and innovation.
