We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Building Careers UK. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
- Prepare month-end journals and monthly management accounts
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns and maintain bank accounts and cash flow
- Manage credit card payment system and perform nominal ledger reconciliations
- Assist in budget preparation and ad-hoc project work
- Good knowledge of financial skills and strong Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and effective communication skills
- Good organisation and prioritisation skills, with a positive outlook and high motivation
- Desirable: AAT or ACCA/CIMA qualification, with relevant experience in finance and accounting
