Children and Young People Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at the Cambian Group, a leading provider of care and education for children and young people. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of our young people, working closely with our Residential Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager as required, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
- Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with our young people and their families to achieve their goals.
- Provide support and guidance to our Residential Care Workers, promoting their professional development and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to team meetings and staff development, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with our on-site team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Support our young people in their daily lives, including meal preparation, household management, and social activities.
- Travel with our young people to and from school or college, promoting their independence and engagement.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- 12 months experience working in a Residential setting, although we welcome applications from those at the start of their journey.
- DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice.
- Competitive rate of pay up to £13.20 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
