About the Role

At Elysium Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Specialist to join our team at Rosebank House. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and supportive environment for our service users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement activity plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our service users.
  • Establish strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery and individualized care plans.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a mental health setting (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based framework.
  • Initiative and motivation to deliver high-quality services.
  • Awareness of mental health and its impact on functioning.
  • Solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
