Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Content Coordinator to join our Books Production Editorial department at Taylor & Francis Group. As a Content Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production of titles from receipt of content to upload for press.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process content for acceptance into the Production department, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Commission external suppliers, prepare materials, and provide feedback to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date schedules and information on our database, compiling reports as required.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues in other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Meet multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Verify the quality of final files, including covers and eBooks, and upload files for publication.
  • Manage schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
  • Assess and process invoices for prompt supplier payment.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, work to deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Experience with high-volume processing and database management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Basic skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat reader.
