To do this, it uses proprietary software packages which combine advanced machine learning and physical modelling, as well as extensive experimental facilities, to invent better alloys and devise better ways to process them. We also 3D print metal components, operating a suite of platforms allowing us to be better and faster than anyone else.

**The Role**

Alloyed is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Goods-In/Goods-Out Administrator to join our team and support our operations in Abingdon.

As a Goods-In/Goods-Out Administrator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high tech components to our customers in an agile way to meet the deadlines on our projects. Your primary responsibilities will involve packing and dispatching as well as ensuring that the goods in/ goods out area is stocked with the required consumables. Furthermore, you will be assisting in some of the of the maintenance of the facilities.

Alloyed has a flat organisational structure to remain as responsive as possible while it grows. Both the business plan and the organisational structure of the Company are evolving fast, as a result the role will require readiness to evolve equally fast. You will work closely with the quality manager and the procurement and shipping administrator to understand any requirements specific to projects or customers and you will be reporting to the head of the Abingdon site.

**Responsibilities**

Goods Receipt and Inspection:

- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against accompanying documentation, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labelling, tagging, and storage of received goods in designated areas.
- Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate software systems or tools.
- Monitor stock levels and promptly update stock status reports to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stockouts.
- Order Processing and Dispatch:

- Process outgoing orders based on customer requests, sales orders, or internal requisitions.
- Coordinate the picking, packing, and labeling of goods to be dispatched, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping guidelines.

Quality Control:

- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet required standards before dispatch.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any product-related issues or concerns.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of all goods received and dispatched, including relevant paperwork, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Generate and share regular reports on inventory levels, order status, and any relevant performance metrics.

Communication and Coordination:

- Liaise with various departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth goods flow and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Facilitate communication between different teams involved in the goods in/goods out processes.

Health and Safety:

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees involved in goods handling.
- Identify and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Facilities Maintenance
- Manage the overall operation, repair, and maintenance of the production plant’s facilities, including buildings, utilities, and grounds.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of facility utilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute maintenance projects and repairs promptly.

Essential
- Proven experience as a Goods In/Goods Out Administrator or in a similar logistics or warehousing role.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in logistics operations.
- GCSE Level or equivalent qualifications; additional certifications or training in logistics and supply chain management is a plus.

Desirable
- Experience in high value manufacturing
- Willingness to work flexible hours or morning/afternoon shifts if needed.
