Business Support Team Leader - Operations Manager
Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Business Support Team Leader - Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day line management of a team of administrative staff, overseeing all administrative functions, and ensuring the Business Support teams are working effectively.
Main DutiesMain Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day line management of a team of up to eight administrative staff, dealing with all management issues such as workload, performance, absence, annual leave, appraisals, and any other HR issue that may arise.
- Oversee all administrative functions and ensure that the Business Support teams are working effectively.
- Work within the wider Business Support teams as required.

Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities

Qualifications and Training
- GCSEs or equivalent.
- Relevant administrative or IT qualification, such as ECDL, RSA, or NVQ.

- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience.
- Qualification in supervisory or line management or relevant experience.
Knowledge and Experience
- Computer literate.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Good knowledge of a wide range of office procedures.
- Clerical, administrative, or reception experience.
- Experience in line management of administrative staff.
- Experience within a customer care, healthcare, or social care setting.
Desirable Knowledge and Experience
- Good knowledge of a wide range of office procedures.
- Experience of dealing with difficult HR/staffing issues.
- Experience of supervision of staff.
