Administrative Support Specialist

This is a part-time opportunity working 28.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, with negotiable days and an option for agile or office-based work.
The role provides comprehensive administrative support across the Department, requiring excellent organisation and communication skills, diary management, and meeting support.
Experience of working with computer packages including Word, Outlook/Emails, Excel, PowerPoint, and managing own workloads is essential.
Responsibilities include preparing agendas and papers, minute taking, taking follow-up action as required, diary management, drafting reports and correspondence, and supporting the smooth running of the department.
Main Duties- Provide high-quality secretarial support to the Head of Service and senior team members of the Department.
- Coordinate secretarial services, including preparation of agendas and papers, minute taking, and taking follow-up action as required.
- Draft reports and correspondence, and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- GCSec Level (A-C) English Language and Maths or equivalent standard NVQ level 3.
- Shorthand qualification and secretarial qualifications, (RSA Grade III typing or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience as a Personal Assistant to senior manager level, with computer literacy in: Word processing / Email / PowerPoint / Microsoft Office / Databases / Excel or equivalent.
Estimated salary range: £26,530 - £29,114 per annum.
