Become an Ambulance Care Assistant in a Dynamic Prehospital Care Setting
3 weeks ago
At Quality Coding & Information Recruitment Solutions Limited, we are offering a unique opportunity to become a qualified First Responder in Emergency Care, free of charge to a select number of individuals ready to commence a career in prehospital care. The Level 3 First Response Emergency Care course enables you to undertake work as an Ambulance Care Assistant for the NHS or private ambulance services and as a First Responder for events, festivals, nightclubs, sporting venues, and film sets for medical providers nationally.
What is Quality Coding & Information Recruitment Solutions Limited?
Quality Coding & Information Recruitment Solutions Limited is a specialist recruitment business that supplies ambulance staff to the NHS and to private ambulance services; we supply all grades of ambulance staff to cover emergency and non-emergency patient transport roles.
What is the Level 3 First Response Emergency Care course?
The Level 3 First Response Emergency Care is the first qualification undertaken by ambulance professionals, acting as the first step towards a career in prehospital care and enabling you to undertake additional training to further develop and eventually become an Emergency Care Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, and even Paramedic.
What are we offering?
Once you have attended the FREC 3 course and we've undertaken full compliance checks, you will be placed in a 13-week assignment supporting one of our customers based in North London. Upon completing the initial 13-weeks, we will provide you with your Level 3 First Response Emergency Care course certificate and a log of the hours you have completed in the capacity of Ambulance Care Assistant. Subject to performance, there will be an opportunity to extend beyond the 13-week contract and potentially an offer of full-time permanent employment with one of our longstanding customers.
What are the benefits?
The FREC 3 course and the compliance checks we undertake are valued at £1,440 but completely free of charge/subsidised on this occasion. Completing the FREC 3 course and 13-week placement will open an array of future employment opportunities within both the NHS and with private ambulance services.
What is an Ambulance Care Assistant?
Ambulance Care Assistants convey a range of people to/from outpatient clinics, renal dialysis, admissions, and discharges following inpatient treatments. ACAs work as part of a double crew or as a single person crew based at an ambulance station or sometimes a hospital. ACAs drive specially designed ambulances with access for wheelchairs, stretchers, and can convey several people on each journey. As well as driving the PTS vehicles, you will also lift and help to move some of your patients in and out of the vehicle using equipment provided. Your other duties will include making sure your vehicle is clean and tidy and keeping an accurate record of your journeys using a wireless device or via paper copy.
What is a First Responder?
First Responders provide basic first aid within the scope of practice for a First Responder until qualified medical assistance can attend, utilising manual handling equipment as appropriate. First Responders must maintain effective communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and venue control room as required and liaise with other staff and communicate patient information in a professional, confidential manner.
What will I be paid for during the 13-week contract?
You will receive a rate of pay between £12 - £14 per hour throughout the placement and we operate weekly payments for the hours you undertake on behalf of Quality Coding & Information Recruitment Solutions Limited.
Are there any strings attached to this offer?
You must have the right to work in the UK and any placement offer would be subject to completion of an Enhanced DBS Adult & Child Barred List criminal record background check. You will be required to complete the 13-week assignment to receive your course certificate. There are no other conditions to this unique career opportunity offered by Quality Coding & Information Recruitment Solutions Limited.
