About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Care Assistant to join our team at Helping Hands. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting adults to maintain their independence and stay in the place they know and love.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to our clients
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, bathing, and toileting
  • Helping with mobility and daily living tasks
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning and cooking
  • Running errands, including food shopping and picking up prescriptions

  • A competitive hourly rate
  • Paid mileage of 35p per mile between calls
  • Early Pay App request up to 50% of your pay in advance of pay day
