Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Aircraft Compliance Manager to join our team in Liverpool. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Buildings Health and Safety obligations as a landlord, demonstrating safety in homes in line with statutory and regulatory standards.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Performance lead for the client for Asbestos, Fire Safety, Water Hygiene, Gas Safety, Electrical Safety, and Safety of Lifting Equipment and other areas of building safety and sewage treatment plants.
  • Policies and Procedures implementation to ensure compliance services meet relevant regulations and sector best practice.
  • Building Compliance management system and records maintenance to ensure they remain up-to-date and suitable for purpose.
  • Contract lifecycle management of Gas and Electrical Safety, Asbestos Management, Water Hygiene, Specialist Fire Equipment, Lift Thorough Inspections and Servicing Contracts, Sewage Treatment Maintenance, and Facilities Management and other related building servicing contracts.
  • Asbestos Register and Management plan monitoring and management for the employer, including oversight of an inspection programme to ensure compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
  • Management plan delivery to ensure compliance with ACoP L8 - The control of Legionella bacteria in water systems and BS 8580:2010 water quality.
  • Risk assessment leadership, overseeing the internal Fire Risk Assessors, and delivery of all actions/recommendations to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a managerial compliance role within a social housing organisation.
