We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Research Coordinator to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting research activities in various settings, including NHS hospitals, community organizations, and care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support research activities in various settings, including NHS hospitals, community organizations, and care homes.
  • Work closely with researchers, clinicians, and community partners to identify research opportunities and develop study protocols.
  • Recruit and engage participants from diverse backgrounds and settings, ensuring informed consent and adherence to research guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with research regulations and data protection policies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for local staff and community members, promoting awareness and understanding of research initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to degree level in a health-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Professional/Statutory Registration (if Registered nurse).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using electronic data capture systems and Microsoft Office.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to professional development opportunities.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £40,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
