We are looking for an experienced Procurement and Logistics Specialist to join our team at Proftech Talent. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities, including vendor relationship management, tendering, and contract administration.

Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic procurement plans, managing spend categories, and negotiating contracts with suppliers. You will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and making recommendations to improve procurement practices.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in a similar role and knowledge of procurement principles and practices are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract administration and negotiation.
  • Analyze market trends and make recommendations to improve procurement practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours
  • Location: Tamworth (full-time on-site)
  • Duration: Permanent
