Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that costs are controlled and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation: Develop detailed quantity requirements and estimate costs for construction projects.
  • Financial Management: Monitor construction budgets and track expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best pricing for our projects.
  • Project Cost Control: Review and update project costs as construction work progresses, ensuring that costs remain within budget.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and understanding of project management principles.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
