The Junior Homewares Buying Coordinator role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to start their careers in buying.
This dynamic position involves supporting the Lead Homewares Buyer with all aspects of day-to-day buying activities, including working closely with suppliers and collaborating with marketing teams.
Key responsibilities include assisting in ordering, logging, and returning samples from suppliers, organising samples for selections, range reviews, and photoshoots, ensuring accurate sample tracking on selection spreadsheets, handling sample invoices, processing them, and raising debit notes when needed.
About the Role:
- Assist the Lead Homewares Buyer with daily tasks
- Work closely with suppliers to source new products
- Collaborate with marketing teams to launch new homeware ranges
- Organise and track samples for selection processes
- Process sample invoices and raise debit notes as required
What We're Looking For:
Candidates should have a relevant degree (or equivalent experience) and an interest in textiles, homewares or fashion buying. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is also essential. Previous office-based administrative experience and a full driving license are also required.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers a supportive work culture, opportunities for career growth, and a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two days from home.
