Job Overview

The College Student Support Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of Balliol's students. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team to promote a supportive and inclusive community.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Graduate Community Liaison Officer. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong ability to build relationships, and a mature and professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a first point of contact for students requiring support or guidance.
  • Work closely with the Dean and Welfare Lead to promote college morale and support students.
  • Assist in the administration of college welfare functions and exercises decanal authority when required.
  • Attend Junior Dean Training organised by the University of Oxford.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic record and good standing within the University of Oxford.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A responsible and mature attitude, with a strong ability to command trust.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team and respond to changing needs.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £2,600 per annum (pro-rated for the duration of the contract) and a range of benefits including meal allowances, SCR dining, and a named sweatshirt.
