Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Care Assistant Lead to join our Night Shift team at De Brook Lodge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, working closely with our Night Care Assistants to ensure that their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and emotional support
- Lead and manage a team of Night Care Assistants, ensuring that they have the necessary training, resources, and support to deliver excellent care
- Maintain accurate records of resident care plans, progress notes, and incident reports
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A passion for delivering exceptional care and support to older adults
- Experience working in a care setting, preferably as a senior care assistant or lead
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professionalism
