About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant at our Lane End care home in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, working closely with our leadership team to develop and implement effective care plans.
Job Description:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
- Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create and deliver personalized care plans
- Administering and recording medication, and carrying out risk assessments to ensure resident safety
- Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life
- Providing a fun, inclusive, and professional approach to all aspects of your role
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A passion for delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on people's lives
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and supervise others effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
