Senior Support Worker

Estimated Salary: £75.00 per hour.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our supported living and outreach service in Blackpool, providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced carer to take on a leadership role, receiving ongoing training to further personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful personal care, emotional, and practical support to service users.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to maximise service user outcomes.
  • Implement Creative Support principles, policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring the service meets CQC requirements.
  • Supervise and support staff to best meet service user needs and preferences.
  • Support service users to have opportunities for a full and happy life, being safe and well.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • A clean valid driving licence and access to a car would be desirable but not essential.
