We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Play Specialist to join our team at Rainbows Children's Hospice. As a key member of our Outreach Play Services team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering play activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children with complex needs.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Health Play Specialism, with experience working with children of all ages and abilities. You will be responsible for planning and delivering play activities that are tailored to the individual needs of each child, and for providing guidance and support to the wider Play Team.
As a key member of our team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that children receive the best possible care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on the effectiveness of our play services.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about play and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of children and their families. If you have a strong background in Health Play Specialism and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver play activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children with complex needs.
- Plan and deliver play activities that are tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Provide guidance and support to the wider Play Team.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that children receive the best possible care.
- Maintain accurate records and report on the effectiveness of our play services.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Health Play Specialist with experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
- Strong background in Health Play Specialism, with a focus on delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of children and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and report on the effectiveness of our play services.
