Lead Outreach Play Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Play Specialist to join our team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a key member of our outreach services, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic and generic play and leisure activities for babies, children, and young people.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include ensuring all children have access to play and planning appropriate activities based on a child's needs. You will also be responsible for providing assistance, guidance, and leadership to the wider Play Team, promoting and maintaining good teamwork and working alongside the Family Support Lead on employee relation activities.
Requirements
- Fully Qualified Health Play Specialist & registered with HPSET
- Experience working with babies and children of all ages
- Experience with babies and children with complex needs
- Ability to travel around the East Midlands and get to rural locations
