We are Tate Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency dedicated to providing exceptional recruitment solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team.

The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and business development activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing Business Strategies: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop business strategies that drive growth and revenue.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and expanding our presence in the market.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals to deliver business development plans and objectives.
  • Metric-Driven Performance: Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvement and optimisation of business development activities.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to inform client targeting initiatives and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the business development budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilisation of resources.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: 5+ years of Business Development experience in a professional or legal services environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing teams.
  • Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with Real Estate and/or Housing Sectors is desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, particularly in tracking and reporting on business development activity.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and build strong relationships.

Estimated Salary: £63,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
