Job Title: Lead Social Care Practitioner

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting for a Lead Social Care Practitioner to work within the Children with Disabilities Team in West Berkshire. The salary for this role is up to £45,441 per annum.

This role involves managing complex caseloads, assessments of children, families, and parenting, and working to meet statutory requirements.

  • Key duties include working with children, families, carers, and communities to help them make informed decisions and contribute to service planning.
  • The role requires staying up to date with contemporary issues in children's social work, including legislation and evidence-based practice.
  • Liaising with colleagues and external agencies to inform assessment and care planning activities is also essential.
  • Additionally, the role involves participating in planning and reviewing cases of children in care, child protection, and support fostering/adoption arrangements.
  • Providing constructive challenge to enhance practice, procedures, and policies is a key aspect of this role.
  • Facilitating reflective and evidence-informed practice is also required.

Requirements for the role include holding a professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
