Job Title: Registered Theatre Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Theatre Nurse to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will have extensive post-registration experience in an elective orthopaedic centre and will be responsible for leading a team of scrub practitioners to facilitate the smooth running of the Elective Orthopaedic lists.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theatre scrub and team leadership, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The role will involve:

  • Leading a team of scrub practitioners to ensure the smooth running of the Elective Orthopaedic lists
  • Developing, training, and monitoring the clinical skills of team members
  • Establishing and maintaining high standards of pre, peri, and postoperative care
  • Contributing to the delivery of a cost-effective service by adjusting staffing levels to meet demand

The successful candidate will be required to participate in the CMH on-call rota.

We offer a competitive salary of £42,939 to £50,697 per annum, inclusive of HCAS, and a range of benefits including a car scheme, season ticket loan, and wellbeing activities.
