Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Molecular Biology Laboratory Manager to oversee the operation of our molecular biology laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory, managing a team of staff, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the laboratory team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results and the effective management of resources.
  • Operational Management: Develop and implement laboratory operational procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, ensuring the highest standards of quality in all laboratory activities.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff, ensuring they have the skills and expertise required to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including team members, management, and clients.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's or advanced degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years' experience in a laboratory management role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
