About the Role

The Operational Support Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering process training to frontline Branch staff, while supporting the Branch Network in achieving targets in compliance and shrinkage, and resolving key operational issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs on operational processes to new starters and existing staff, as needed, to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain operational training plans for branches covered, ensuring that all staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Provide basic training and support on cash banking processes, ensuring that all staff are proficient in handling cash transactions.
  • Conduct operational audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the completion of PARC scoring by providing data and insights, enabling the Branch Network to make informed decisions.
  • Drive branches to achieve process completion targets, ensuring a smooth month-end process.
  • Support the Branch Stocktake Management program, ensuring accurate and efficient stock management practices.
  • Develop key team members to follow defined RTS processes, reduce potential write-offs, and adhere to warranty processes.
  • Provide support to branches in crisis, such as stocktake progress problems or volume buildup, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support Operations Managers and Audit in stock variance or stocktaking investigations, providing expert guidance and analysis.
  • Provide front-line support on small branch projects, such as racking or range location changes, and local branch projects, as needed.
  • May be required to be the subject matter expert on a particular topic, providing guidance and delivering structured, documented training.

Working Hours: 0.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Operational experience, ideally gained in a multi-site organization.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate others, leading by example.
  • Excellent communication skills, at all levels.
  • Able to work well under own initiative, with minimal supervision.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in Excel.
  • A clean, valid driving license, with flexibility to travel (overnight stays may be required).
