About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Osborne Thomas Limited as a Programme Support Officer Transport, where you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of transport investment schemes and programme development. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to ensuring our initiatives achieve their goals and benefit residents across the East Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of transport investment schemes, including financial administration, documentation updates, data accuracy monitoring, and project timeline management.
  • Coordinate team events, such as workshops and seminars, to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in scheduling and managing project tasks within time and budget constraints, including maintaining action and risk registers.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other key documentation to ensure seamless communication.
  • Develop and implement office procedures, policies, and protocols to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Draft and distribute communications, including emails, reports, and presentations, to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze transport and programme investment-related data for reporting and decision-making purposes.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in organizing and delivering multi-faceted projects, with a working knowledge of project management principles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with flexibility in the face of changing demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • The ability to work independently with initiative and as part of a team.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
