About the RoleThis is a 10-month maternity leave cover position, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Ward Manager in setting up standards, promoting change, and developing nursing practice, supervision, and audit.
You will ensure the delivery of high standards of nursing care to all service users, in accordance with evidence-based professional practice and trust policies.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the Ward Manager in setting up standards and promoting change
- Develop nursing practice, supervision, and audit
- Ensure delivery of high standards of nursing care
- Support the overall performance of a small group of supervisees
- Experience as a Band 5 in an acute inpatient setting
- Clinical Supervision and Mentoring Experience
- Ability to assess and manage risk effectively
- Experience in Perinatal Mental Health
